Ant Rid

Aromatic Vacuuming

Add a few drops of these combined oils to cotton wool and place inside the vacuum cleaner bag to release a nice fragrance while you vacuum. Using essential oils will also kill fleas and mites that are sucked into your vacuum cleaner.

Athlete's Foot Shoe Powder

Combine oils with 1 cup bicarb soda and sprinkle into shoes daily to help prevent fungus.

Carpet Deodoriser

Lavender 2, Orange 2, Ylang Ylang 2
Swap out any oil for Peppermint if that’s your thing. Combine six drops of oil with 1 cup of bicarb soda and mix well (you could use an empty parmesan cheese container as a shaker can). Sprinkle all over the carpet and let sit for 15 minutes before vacuuming. The baking soda will absorb funky smells and the oil will freshen and deodorise.

Clean Your Cleaning Cloths

To disinfect cleaning cloths, soak them overnight in a bowl of water with a few drops of oil.

Cleaning Paste

Mice hate peppermint! Mix oil in a spray bottle with 500mL water. Spray this mixture anywhere you have seen mouse droppings or you think a mouse might have been. Alternatively put a drop of Peppermint on cotton wool and place this in the area. The peppermint will deter rodents rather than kill them.

Natural Moth Balls

Take three cotton balls and place a single drop on each one, using the different oils. Place them in different spots in your wardrobe and refresh necessary.

Odour-Free Bins

Mix oils in a spray bottle with 500mL water. Spray inside the offending shoes regularly and be sure to wash them as needed.

Sparkling Stainless Steel

Mix ½ cup of baking soda with ¼ cup white vinegar and add essential oils. Apply to a cleaning cloth and scrub the sink. Rinse off with warm water and admire the sparkle.

Stain Remover

Pour 2 drops of Lemon oil directly onto the stain, rub it in and leave it to sit for a few minutes before adding it to the washing machine.

Sticky Residue Remover

Surface Clenaser
