Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity in supporting my World Vision fundraising efforts. Thanks to each of you, for another 12 months we are able to support children and families in places where life isn't as easy as it is here in Australia.
For the last 2 years, with your generous support, I was able to sponsor gorgeous Annie.
LeReve continue to sponsor 100 children, and this year exactly 50 of them are sponsored by individual LeReve consultants like myself with LeReve sponsoring the rest. Some of our children have been removed from the program and new children added. In some cases, our children have been changed without reference to LeReve. This was done administratively by World Vision who have a complex job of organizing our sponsorships.
At first I was disappointed that my sponsor child changed from Annie to John but once I really thought about it, it doesn't really matter who I sponsor, they are all beautiful children who where not born into a fortunate life like our own children have been.
SO...... this year I have accepted the change with a open heart.
Please meet my sponsor child John who lives in Zambia. John loves coloring in and playing ball games. I feel blessed to support him and his community. I’m passionate about helping others who aren’t blessed with the same privileges that we enjoy in our first-world country.
Please consider making a small contribution so I can continue to sponsor John through World Vision. Each child sponsorship costs $600 and I’m hoping to raise at least $1200 so I can sponsor two children this year! Any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about LeRêve’s fundraising efforts and please scroll down the page to see all the children sponsored through LeRêve including my beautiful John. Thanks again!
WE PROUDLY SUPPORT
World Vision
LeRêve is proud to support three charities that help women and children in need – Breast Cancer Network Australia, the Breast Cancer Aotearoa Coalition and World Vision. It’s a scary fact... 25,000 children die each day from preventable or treatable causes. World Vision is an international organisation dedicated to assisting poor communities in approximately 100 countries by providing short-term emergency relief and long-term community development projects that target problems such as malnutrition, disease, unemployment, illiteracy, landlessness and economic dependency. World Vision’s ‘Sponsor a Child’ program has an immense positive impact in poor villages. As a child is given the opportunity of being well clothed and fed and then educated, his/her family also benefits and as the family rises out of poverty, the entire village prospers. LeRêve is proud to sponsor 100 children – many of whom are personally sponsored by our Consultants. You can participate in our fund-raising efforts by getting involved in our World Vision month of April. Contact your Consultant or contact us for details.
